The operation
A pre-Series-A AgTech firm in Málaga building a patented retrofit irrigation system, Direct Root Irrigation, that delivers up to 75% water savings on permanent-crop farms. Capital-equipment B2B, sold to olive, almond and citrus growers, in a different language and a different regulatory context to the rest of our work.
What the engagement covered
A board-level growth strategy review, a digital operations and marketing playbook scoped from bootstrap to a first growth push, a UI and UX scorecard for the site, a website build timeline, and the case for positioning “DRI” as a category of its own rather than a feature of someone else’s.
Why it matters to the method
This is our first non-UK engagement, and it was chosen precisely because it stresses the method against language, regulatory and capital-equipment contexts all at once. If the approach travels here, across a border and into hardware, the claim that it is a method rather than a one-off gets a lot more credible.
An honest note on stage. This is current, pro-bono advisory work. The 75% water-saving figure is the client’s own claim about their product, not a result we are taking credit for. We publish named outcomes only when the founder is ready to be quoted.
